Contribution of New Digital Technologies to the Digital Building Logbook

According to the European Commission, Digital Building Logbook (DBL) is a repository of all relevant data building. It was first introduced at scale in Renovation Wave strategy and defined proposal for recast energy performance buildings Directive December 2021. The DBL has not been implemented yet, since common model does yet exist. Even though great efforts are being made establish it, some issues need be addressed first. One them identification sources that will feed DBL. Existing digital have already explored countries they found insufficient. In this paper, new suitable logbook identified, their contribution terms indicators interoperability analysed. analysis shows these potential contribute DBL, because bring possibility collect amount real on buildings. However, main barrier tools incorporated into linkage still requires further research.
